Salman Khan Returns To Work

The macho Salman Khan can boast of more than what meets the eye. Well, literally, figuratively, every which way.
After a month of nursing an eye infection, SK is all set to resume filming for Anees Bazmee’s ‘Ready.’ He’d made a recent appearance at the ‘Being Human’ show sporting sunglasses fanning rumours that he’d opted for a blepharoplasty… a cosmetic surgery procedure to remove the “bags under the eyes” that had him all red eyed.
Word has it that the October schedule of ‘Ready’ went for a toss, owing to Salman’s sudden eye injury. Reportedly, SK has nodded assent to filming for ‘Ready’ in mid November.
Incidentally, the eye injury also delayed canning sequences for ‘Bodyguard’ starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, being produced by Salman’s sister Alvira. Source

Tusshar Kapoor Is Bored Of Doing Comedy

The not so very popular Tusshar Kapoor who plays Lucky- the comical mute character in the GOLMAAL Series wishes to now dabble in other genres of acting.
Says Tusshar “I take it as a compliment when people appreciate my roles and comic timing. But as an actor, I want to come out of my comfort zone and dabble in other fare like romance and action once again”
And the actor is doing just that with his forthcoming films -SHOR, LOVE YOU…MR KALAKAR and HUM TUM AUR SHABANA. However that being said Tusshar Kapoor is not bidding adieu to comedy.

Deepika Padukone Hurt By Siddhartha Mallya

Here’s some news about Deepika Padukone and Siddhartha Mallya’s relationship off late.
The matter becomes more critical especially after a really inept act of the Mallya scion at an auction event held in the city recently. Something that Deepika’s current beau Siddhatha Mallya did became a reason for major embarrassment to the leggy beauty. The two love birds graced an auction organised by Rahul Bose in Mumbai. Incidentally in the list of items on sale was her father Prakash Padukone`s medals!
The crowd present expected that Siddharth would bid for Prakash`s medals. But, sadly it never happened. An eyewitness present at the event said, “We were sorely disappointed that Siddharth made no attempt to buy Deepika`s dad`s medal. It was picked up by a stranger.”

Salman Khan In Ramesh Taurani’s Next

After the grand success of Dabangg, Salman Khan has become a hot property in Bollywood. No wonder then that all the directors and producers are lining up to sign the star for their films.
The latest news is that Salman Khan has been signed up by Ramesh Taurani for his next venture. However, Taurani states, “Actually, we had signed Salman much before Dabangg, for the remake of Amar Akbar Anthony.”
However, the plans to remake Amar Akbar Anthony have been dropped and now Taurani wants to start a new project with the star. Says Ramesh Taurani, “Since we already have Salman on board, we have decided to make a totally different film. The film will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and we have already locked the script.”
As for the details regarding the cast and of the yet untitled venture, Taurani says, “Though we have already locked the script, we are yet to finalise on the rest of the cast. The film will go floor only next year. Apart from this, I cannot say much now as it’s still too early.”
Well, let’s hope that Sallu who is currently enjoying a high phase in his career continues with it through next year as well. Source

Our sources reveal that ‘Paa’ famed R.Balki has approached Abhishek Bachchan to play lead in his new film. With an impressive line featuring ‘Guru’, ‘Sarkar’, ‘Yuva’, ‘Paa’ and the latest ‘Raavan’, the actor has carved a niche for himself in the world of celluloid.
So, evidently Abhishek being sought after by top notch filmmakers of the industry, doesn’t come as a surprise to many. R Balki scored majorly with `Paa`, romping home with a National Award, no less, for his premier effort as a producer.

Akshay Kumar & Aishwarya Rai In Dubai

Things are heating up for Diwali releases. The lead pair of Action Replayy, Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Bachchan, are in Dubai. There will be a glittering premiere of the film tonight, which would be followed by a round of celebrations.
Akshay and Aishwarya will be back tomorrow to further pump up the promotion, leading to Friday’s release of the film. Confirms Vipul, “Both Akshay and Ash have a huge fan base in the overseas and it was imperative for them to travel for the premiere.”
Vipul stayed back in Mumbai to oversee the promotional activities within the country. He was in Ahmedabad on Monday to show the film to Indian cricket team, which was stationed there in advance, as they play a test match against New Zealand starting tomorrow.
“Yes, there was a special show organised for them on Monday. Of course, the team has liked the film a lot. However, I am now waiting for all-India audience to pass their verdict once the film opens on Friday,” says Vipul.
His anxiety is understandable. After all, Diwali releases come with huge expectations and with another major film Golmaal 3 releasing on the same day, it has to be seen if it turns out to be double dhamaka for the makers of both the films. Source
