Anil Kapoor Is Now A Hollywood Star

Now, this can give you a feeling of jealousy. After the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire and sharing screen space with Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Anil Kapoor is riding high on his Hollywood career. He has also bagged a role in the thriller Cities opposite Hollywood star Clive Owen.
But director Shirish Kunder claims that many of his colleagues in Bollywood are happy that he didn’t feature in the first Mission Impossible 4 trailer.
He tweeted: ‘So many people in Bollywood happy that Anil Kapoor does not feature in the Mission Impossible trailer. The Great Indian Crab Mentality!’ Source

Shahrukh Khan Matches Hollywood Standards With Ra.One

King Khan Shah Rukh Khan has done it again. The smart B-town super star known for his marketing techniques this time has got the entire industry taken by a pleasant surprise. On January he came with a full page ad in a leading newspaper announcing his arrival on Diwali with ‘Ra.One’.
While most of the films do hardcore promotions only a few weeks from the release date, Shah Rukh Khan planned his moves of his upcoming promised blockbuster ‘Ra.One’ since January.
Four months before the release of the movie Shah Rukh Khan is doing things that the industry and the audience alike have never witnessed yet. SRK unveiled a one minute theatrical teaser last week and the promo is in high demand by all major cinema owners who want to play it all around.
Needless to add, the promo has sparked great expectations and everyone wants October to come faster.
Heavily loaded by special effects ‘Ra.One’ can easily be mistaken to be a Hollywood big sci-fi flick. Definitely King Khan Shahrukh has set the trend and with the promotions just started we can only say that ‘picture abhi baki hai mere dost’ (there’s lots more to come my friend) and it can only go more bigger and better.

Aishwarya Rai’s Hollywood Dream Has Come True

Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai, who has rubbed shoulders with innumerable Hollywood personalities, was dying to meet Dustin Hoffman. And the lady with the killer looks finally realized her dream of bonding with the Hollywood star.
Just about a week back, Ash came across Hoffman and his son Jake at an exhibition basketball match in Los Angeles. Narrating how Aishwarya and Hoffman hit it off, an eye witness, while talking to a daily said, “The two spoke for sometime about movies and global trends and newer market tapping agendas.”
And the two were also seen playing cheerleaders for their respective teams, which were fighting it out on the day of the big game.
Oscars is just a little less than a day away. Will we get to see them walk the Red Carpet together? We need to wait and watch. Source

Bipasha Basu, Heading Towards Hollywood

Bikini bomb Bipasha Basu is all set to make her mark in the west too. She is all set to star opposite Hollywood heartthrob Josh Hartnett in her first Hollywood film titled Singularity.
Singularity is a passionate love story, set against the backdrop of the first Anglo-Maratha war, about an Indian bodyguard, played by Bipasha, and a British soldier, played by Josh Hartnett. Expect there to be romantic scenes between Bipasha and Josh Hartnett, and Bipasha says she has no problem with that, “If I can do kissing scenes in India then why not for a Hollywood film?”
The film will not only see Bipasha play a romantic lead but will require the actress to do a variety of stunts including horse riding, deep sea diving, and fencing. The actress has already started preparations for her new Hollywood movie and is keeping her fans updated on the social networking site twitter; the star tweeted “My prep for singularity was super fun! Horse riding, underwater swimming, rehearsals n discussions with d cast, working on my look! Great team!”
The movie was originally titled The Invaders and had as part of its cast Brendon Fraser, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vivek Oberoi. However, that was shelved and now Abhay Deol is also set to star in the film alongside international stars such as Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, Shane Briant, Christopher Egan and Chris Pine.
Set for an Autumn 2011 release the film is being shot in Australia and India. Roland Joffe, who is best known for his Oscar nominated movies The Killing Fields and The Mission, directs Singularity. Source
