After Ajay Devgn was praised by Salman Khan for his new six pack look in forthcoming action film Singham, the former has now returned the compliment.

“Salman has the best body in the industry. We are very good friends and when he tweeted about my six packs for my film, I take it as a compliment,” he said.
Salman had earlier tweeted in praise of Ajay’s chiselled body, saying, “Baap re baap. Superb Ajay’s body is looking. Too good.”
The ‘Golmaal’ star had to hit the gym regularly to join the league of six pack abs alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Emraan Hashmi.

Devgn will be seen as a Marathi cop doing some breathtaking action sequences in the film which has been directed by Rohit Shetty.

Its Akshay Kumar Vs Ajay Devgn

Bollywood archrivals Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn are once again pitted against each other, this time on the small screen. Buzz has it that both actors are top contenders to host the fourth season of ‘Fear Factor’.
Apparently, Akshay Kumar has no inkling that the broadcasters of ‘Fear Factor’ are in constant talks with Ajay Devgn for the show.
Talking to a daily, a source from the TV industry said, “Ajay has sent feelers to the broadcasters of ‘Fear Factor’ that he wants to do that show. The channel that airs ‘Fear Factor’ has approached him. Ajay would love to do a show like ‘Fear Factor’. He loves action-oriented stuff.”
Well, it is not the first time and Akshay and Ajay are at loggerheads with each other. Akshay and Ajay’s professional relationship soured during the making of ‘Khakee’ (2004), where Ajay felt that Akshay had altered the length of his role. As a result, post ‘Khakee’, Ajay and Akshay never worked together again.
In 2010, Akshay convinced Vipul Shah to release ‘Action Replayy’ on the same day as ‘Golmaal 3’, though it is a different story that the former sank without a trace at the Box Office.
It is believed when Ajay Devgn heard that Emraan Hashmi would be chasing girls in Bhandarkar’s ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’, he made an allusion to ‘Akshay Kumar pre marriage’. Ajay also suggested that Emraan’s pet should be named Abbi to rhyme with Akki.
Interestingly, even Priyanka is trying her best to beat both the action heroes to host fourth season of ‘Fear Factor’. Speaking on this development, the source added, “But that is unlikely to happen. It’s just a two-horse race now.”
No doubt small screen is getting hotter day by day. What say people? Source

Ranbir Kapoor Was Made A Laughing Point By Ajay Devgn

This new year has indeed transformed Ajay Devgn from a reticent, no-nonsense star to a chilled-out humorous guy. It seems Ajay all of a sudden loves his newfound witty side.
After taking pot-shots at Kareena and Saif, Ajay made fun of Bollywood’s blue-eyed boy Ranbir Kapoor and his good old friend Salman Khan in Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee with Karan’.
Confirming the reports to a daily, a source from the channel said, “Normally known to be reserved, Ajay appeared to have cast aside all his inhibitions on this show. Initially Devgn said that he didn`t want to come on Koffee because he was scared that Karan Johar would ask him controversial questions. But, Ajay said quite a lot as he got into the flow of the conversation.”
“It`s become quite fashionable to pull down Ranbir Kapoor on KWK these days. Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor did it earlier and now even Ajay did not spare Ranbir. In the rapid-fire section, Karan asked Ajay what he was most likely to find in Ranbir Kapoor`s bedroom. Ajay said with a straight face, ‘I don`t know what I will find, who I will find and how many I will find!’ referring to Ranbir`s so-called many girlfriends. Even Karan was stunned with Ajay`s frankness and for a second didn`t know where to look,” said the source.
Apparently, Ajay even joked about his old friend Salman Khan. The source continued, “When KJo asked Ajay what he expected to find in Salman`s bedroom, Ajay replied blandly, “I am likely to find `dumb-bells` in Salman`s bedroom.` Though Karan burst out laughing at that, he was in splits when Ajay was asked what would be the best title for Salman`s biography. Ajay replied promptly, “Trying to be human!”
Surprisingly, Karan was quite taken aback by Ajay`s new avatar as the source added, “Karan has known Ajay only as his close friend Kajol`s husband. On the show KJo was pleasantly surprised to find this new witty side to AJ (as Kajol calls Devgn). Ajay said at the end of the show that he hoped no one`s feelings got hurt because it was meant to be taken lightly and in good humour.” Source

Ajay Devgn Agrees To Appear On Koffee With Karan

The superb filmmaker Karan Johar sure knows how to get his way around celebrities for the filmmaker-cum-host has convinced the very reclusive Ajay Devgn for his famous talk show. After refusing to appear on ‘Koffee with Karan’ for the last two seasons, Ajay has given his final nod to Karan Johar. However, the actor will appear on the show solo as his better half Kajol chose to stay at home with the kids.
As per reports, Karan was keen to get both Ajay and Kajol on the show together. However, Kajol excused herself playing the baby card. Nevertheless, she urged her hubby to appear on the show.
Confirming the news a source said, “The host was thrilled to have Ajay on the show. Prior to the shoot, Ajay and KJo were closeted together for two hours in the make-up van.”
Talking about Ajay agreeing to do the show, Karan said, “We have been chatting a lot. Initially, Ajay had reservations but I told him we will make it fun and comfortable and not gossipy. I wanted to catch a glimpse of Ajay and who he is and I think I managed that.”
“I would`ve liked Kajol on the show but she`s busy with her newborn baby and it`s difficult for her to get away. I don`t think Ajay has ever done a one-on-one chat show like KWK. It`s very interesting for me to have Ajay on the show as he`s media shy and an introvert while the show is extrovert-ish and chatty,” he added. Source

The Different Views of Kajol & Ajay Devgn

They were last seen together on screen almost three years back in Ajay Devgn’s directorial debut, U, ME AUR HUM. Now, real life jodi, Ajay and Kajol is all set to recreate their magic in the animation flick, TOONPUR KA SUPERRHERO. Directed by Kireet Khurana, it is India’s first live action - 3D animation combination feature film.
Although they have done many films together, Kajol and Ajay are not on the same page when it comes to choosing films. Says Kajol, “We rarely agree on a script. So it has to be few movies every few years.” She goes on to say, “We actually don’t agree on most scripts. What he thinks of being very workable, I think them to be very boring. So it’s very rare that we both agree to do a film.”
So has the equation between Kajol and Ajay changed through the years? “The process is pretty much the same. As the years go by, you just get more comfortable. You get used to the way the other person works. It becomes more of a team spirit more than anything else,” asserts Kajol.
Quiz them about what made them do TOONPUR KA SUPERRHERO and Ajay says, “TOONPUR KA SUPERRHERO was a fabulous script. I would put it as a comedy film which makes you laugh throughout. In our country, till date animation films have been made which target the children. I’ve seen some with my daughter. Their humour only makes some children laugh. It doesn’t excite adults.
They think that children are stupid,” he says bluntly. Continuing in the same vein, he says, “And the movies have failed. But we like the Hollywood animation films that we see with our kids because they have the right balance. Why are we trying to make films with humour which only some kids will like and other kids have grown out of it or we have grown out of it? So our first intention was to make a comedy film which both kids and adults will understand.” Source

Sanjay Dutt’s Love For Ajay Devgn

Bollywood has its equal share of pompous egoistic stars who think of only themselves, and those who don’t think twice before doing a close friend a favor. Time and again actors like Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt have proved that they are willing to do anything for their industry friends.
Sanjay, or Sanju baba as he is fondly called, shares a great rapport with Ajay Devgn. After doing Ajay’s All The Best, he will now be a part of Toonpoor Ka Superhero albeit as a voiceover. Krishika Lulla’s Ajay-Kajol starrer, which is to be released in December, has a character of God and the director was waiting for the right voice to act as the narrator.
Since Ajay and Sanjay were shooting together at that time, Lulla asked if Sanjay was willing to dub for the movie and he readily agreed saying “anything for Ajay”. Interestingly Sanjay had earlier played the role of the Death-God Yamraj in Shahid Kapoor’s Vaah Life Ho To Aisi. Source
