According to reports circulating in the media, an engagement is soon on the cards for this actress – director jodi who apparently became close to one another during the time they spent working in various films together. The Rani Mukerji – Aditya Chopra relationship had created quite a furore in the recent past when the news first surfaced in the media. Apparently, Aditya’s relationship with Rani was the cause of his breakup with Payel Khanna, his wife of eight years.
Though the news has not been confirmed by the families of Rani Mukerji or Aditya Chopra, the media has been speculating on the impending wedding ever since Payel Khanna filed divorce papers last year. It had also been reported then that Yash Chopra, father of Aditya Chopra and the head of the Yash Raj Films banner, did not support his son when he started his illicit relationship with Rani Mukerji.

Rani Mukerji Loves To Work In A Film Like “No One Killed Jessica”
The bong beauty Rani Mukerji enjoys being a part of women-centric films and says she would like do a movie where a woman is projected as a strong person.
‘Whatever films I have been a part of so far, most of them have been women-centric films. I wish to do more such films where women are shown stronger because it is a fact that women are stronger,’ Rani, who gave hits like ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ and ‘Saathiya’, told reporters here Friday.
Her role in the upcoming film ‘No One Killed Jessica’ would be a reflection of her belief where she would be seen in the role of a television journalist.
The actress was in the capital to be a part of Plan India’s fund raising auction and support the organisation’s global gender equity and equality campaign - Because I Am A Girl. Plan India promotes child rights and works to improve the quality of life of vulnerable children in India.
Rani made her Bollywood debut with the woman-centric film ‘Raja Aayegi Baraat’. She was later seen in films like ‘Mehendi’, ‘Black’, ‘Laaga Chunari Mein Daag’, ‘Hum Tum’, ‘Yuva’ and ‘Veer Zaara’ among others.
Asked about not being seen on screen much these days, she said: ‘I want to be a part of good films and play good characters. I wouldn’t like to disappoint my fans. I have always tried that every new film I do is different from others.’
‘After ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’, I found the script of ‘No One Killed Jessica’ best, so I decided to take it up. We had completed our shooting in June, but they (the makers) also needed some time to complete the film,’ she said.
‘No One Killed Jessica’ is based on model Jessica Lall who was shot dead in 1999 by Manu Sharma in a nightclub. Produced by UTV Spotboy, the film also features Vidya Balan as Jessica’s elder sister Sabrina. It will hit the screens Jan 7 next year. Source
