Amisha Patel and Kangna Ranaut are still not involved in a cat fight. Especially so since post Kangana’s close liaison with Sanjay Dutt, the KAHO NA PYAAR HAI girl has flashed her “I am closer to Manyata” card time and again. So while Kangna has continued to extend her professional alliance with Sanju by doing close to half a dozen films with him already, Amisha gradually found herself left far behind in the race.
However all of this may just change in a couple of month’s time. CHATUR SINGH TWO STAR which was launched in 2008 has now been revived and it would finally see the light of the day this Eid. The stars in question? Sanjay Dutt and Amisha.
“This was a film that Amisha had signed with Sanjay Dutt when they shared a great personal rapport,” informs a source, “Together they had also done TATHASTU and though the film had flopped, Sanjay didn’t forget Amisha. So when he reunited with his NEHLE PE DEHLA director Ajay Chandok for CHATUR SINGH TWO STAR, it was a given that Amisha would star in it.”
Though none of the two leading ladies are coming out in open with daggers in hand, rest assured there would be some fight for supremacy taking place on screen. After all that’s the least chaturaai can expect from the Patel girl who has created quite some GADAR when she started off with nothing less than a blockbuster like KAHO NAA PYAAR HAI a decade ago. Kangna Ranaut’s Hidden Talent Is Revealed

The Tanu of bollywood, Kangna Ranaut, seems to be going Salman Khan’s tried and tested route to win people’s hearts. Sources on the sets of Ranaut’s new film I Love New Year confirm that the actor takes the trouble to actually cook a hearty meal for most of her colleagues from the film.
“Not many know this, but Kangna loves to cook. In fact, she prefers to cook her favourite dishes herself. Initially, she would get non-vegetarian dishes like paya and the like for herself.
Her colleagues, Sunny Deol and other unit members tasted it and were floored. They requested her to pack in more for them too, the next time she entered the kitchen,” says the source, who is also a regular on the sets.
“Bas aur kya, Kangna has been bringing in dabba for the unit members she shares her lunch with ever since. And she says that she prepares it herself so it’s really sweet of her,” adds the source.
It may be recalled that the actress was being spoken about for her ‘attitude’ problem not so long back. Though she denied the buzz strongly, Ranaut seems to have learnedsoon enough that the key to building a good image is through your unit members tummies.
It’s a trait she perhaps picked up from her pal Khan, who is known to pamper people from his sets with homemade biryani, chicken and mutton delicacies.
When asked, Ranaut didn’t deny the story and admitted that she’s been packing in lunch for the unit members of I Love New Year.
“(Laughs) Whenever someone on the sets has tasted my food, they’ve loved it. So I couldn’t resist packing a dabba for everyone since then,” she said adding that she wakes up early in the morning to begin preparations for the meal.
“They specially like the non-vegetarian preparations — paya and biryani. Vinay (Sapru, the director), Sunny and the others gather in my vanity van and that’s where the meal is devoured,” says Ranaut. Source

Kangna Ranaut Likes Comedy More Than Serious Roles

When she entered the film industry, we thought that Kangana Ranaut was too serious for her boots. With her screen past, she seemed fit only for ‘crack’ roles. Well, this girl is now trying to make you crack up. The actor is now trying her hand at comedy.
“I prefer comedy to serious cinema. It’s the one genre that Indians absolutely love,” she says.
Gearing up for another laugh riot, she talks about everything that makes her laugh out loud:
“I love to laugh. Even if I’m having a bad day, I’ll make sure that I end it on a happy note by hanging out with friends who can make me laugh. I can relate to funny situations. One film that I am never tired of watching is Jane Bhi Do Yaaron.”
“The scene when the coffin is mistaken for a car has me in splits every time I watch it. And the beauty of the film is that a murder scene that’s supposed to be serious; it is so enjoyable to watch. There is a message here, whether we want to take it or not — life is how you choose to view it. People have changed, and with them, films too. But comedy is still comedy, and we Indians absolutely love it.”
“I like to have fun, both on and off the screen. I’m good friends with all my co-actors and that’s what makes work so enjoyable. When I was shooting for my upcoming film, my director would actually have to tell us to shut up.”
“I’ve never worked with so many guys on one film. Arshad (Warsi), Sanjay (Dutt) and Riteish (Deshmukh) would keep cracking these double meaning jokes and leave me in splits. We even went shopping together, and trust me, shopping with boys can be quite funny. Fortunately, they didn’t play any pranks on me.”
“Comedy excites me, be it real or reel life. There is so much potential for us actors to discover ourselves and our brand of humour when we’re doing comedies. I don’t know how funny I am, maybe my friends would be a better judge of that. But what I do know is that I can laugh at the silliest of things. I hope that I can tap my full potential as an actor in a comedy film. There really is more to life than doing item numbers. I don’t look down on the fad, but I can’t see myself doing one. I don’t think I’m attractive enough to do an item number (laughs).” Source

Kangna Ranaut Is Fighting For Her Dates

Kangna Ranaut seems to be caught in the clash of producers, Ratan Jain (Tez) and Bhushan Kumar (I Love NY), over dates.
According to a source, the actress, who is currently shooting for Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru’s I Love NY (earlier titled Happy New Year), was urgently required for a day on the sets of Tez in UK.
Jain requested Kumar to give a day out of her current schedule, but he didn’t oblige. As a result the Tez unit will have no choice but to shoot without their lead actress,” the source informs.
BK confirms, “We are shooting with both Sunny Deol and Kangna till June 20. Jain required Ranaut for a day. We tried our level best but we couldn’t match our combination dates.
Her traveling to London will be another two days. It was difficult for us to let her go for three days altogether. Moreover, both Sunny and Kangna are leaving on June 20, for IIFA. So we can’t even extend the shoot.”
The producer adds, “We are all part of the same industry and should be there to help each other. I have a huge respect for Priyadarshan (director of Tez) and Jain but unfortunately, it couldn’t be worked out. They will have to manage without her.”
Will the other producer be upset with him? “Why would he be? The dates are with us and not with him. We hope he understands. And if he doesn’t then I can’t do much. I tried really hard.”

Kangna Ranaut’s Breast Tattoo In ‘Tanu Weds Manu’

The vivacious actress Kangna Ranaut is still single and ready to mingle! We are only talking about a temporary tattoo for the actress’ latest film Tanu Weds Manu. In the required scene, the actress pulls down her kurta to display tattooed name of her boyfriend on the upper part of her breast,reports our source.
The tattoo is done in henna, and the actress had to get it done over and over again till the scene was completely shot.
A source told, “Initially, Kangna was amused at the scene but had no qualms in doing it. She had to perform this shot to avoid getting married to her co-star in the film. Her parents want her to go for an arranged marriage in the film and she tries all ways possible to scandalise Madhavan.”

Kangna Ranaut Visits Tirupati Balaji Temple For Her Upcoming Film

Tirupati Balaji temple is indeed lucky for the bollywood stars. Kangna Ranaut was a rare exception to that rule (to her defense, she has been meaning to visit for six years now)… until last week. She was there to seek blessings for her next, Tanu Weds Manu.
She says, “I went to Tirupati last week with my brother and sister, for the first time since coming to Mumbai. We go to Vaishno Devi more often.
But when I came to Mumbai, people kept telling me to visit the Tirupati Balaji temple. I wanted to, for many years now, but work commitments kept coming in the way.
I was determined to go this time around. The trip was hectic and stressful but worth it. I loved my experience there. He (Balaji) is so powerful.”
 Kangs was keen on divine intervention for her film Tanu Weds Manu. “It’s a film that is very special to me.
I had a close brush with death and almost lost my leg while shooting for the film so I have literally given my blood, sweat and tears for it. It’s a film that’s like my special child.

About parallels with her character in TWM, she says, “I feel I am Tanu in many ways. I too come from a small town like her, am rebellious and suffer a cultural conflict.

Kangna Ranaut, these days advises all the youngsters and newcomers to treat showbiz like any other profession and says that they should first prepare themselves by learning acting. Citing her own example Kangna disclosed that she too learnt acting first did theater and then came to Mumbai to try her luck.

Priyanka, Katrina & Kangna - All Are Fighting For Aamir Khan

Perfectionist Aamir Khan has spurred a catfight of sorts or so it seems. The actor, who has signed his first movie this year to be directed by Reema Kagti of Honeymoon Travels Ltd fame, has ignited a war between leading Bollywood actresses.
As of now, there is a tug of war going on between Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut and Katrina Kaif for the second lead opposite the actor, after the first lead was bagged by Kareena Kapoor.
And the decision for the second female lead rests with no one else but Aamir Khan. The actor, along with his co-producers and Excel Entertainment, is set to finalise the second female lead for the flick.
Talking about the film, a source told a news daily, “The film goes on floors in February. The casting has to be completed in the next three weeks. All three Katrina, Priyanka and Kangna are very keen to do this film. An Aamir film will be a big feather in each of their caps.”
However it will be tough choice for the perfectionist to make as all three have been friendly with him. “It will be interesting to see who wins the race.
