Director Pankaj Kapur has apparently gifted Sonam Kapoor, a limited edition 24-carat gold plated luxury pen studded with diamonds worth a whopper.

Sonam Kapoor Joins Bikram Yoga Classes To Stay Fit

It seems Sonam Kapoor is aiming for size zero. The already slim actress has now joined Bikram Yoga classes, where she is expected to sweat it out and burn oodles of calories.
“Starting bikram yoga today or as everyone calls it hot yoga. It’s my dads secret for looking fab. (sic),” Sonam posted on her Twitter page.
Bikram Yoga is a distinct style developed by yoga guru Bikram Choudhury who holds a US copyright on his yoga that comprises 26 ‘asanas’ or postures and two breathing exercises.

India International Jewellery Week; Sonam Kapoor Does It All

Sonam Kapoor is the face of the India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) after designer Farah Khan Ali, who created waves at the inaugural edition last year decided to give it a miss this time due to other commitments.
The five-day event, organised by the Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC)begins in Mumbai July 31.
‘I am not showcasing at the second edition of the jewellery week as I am working on a bigger project which requires time and concentration,’ Farah, was in the news recently after international singer Beyonce Knowles wore a crown desgined by her for a new music album ‘4', told the source.
The jewellery at Mumbai’s Grand Hyatt hotel will see collections from designers like Varuna D. Jani and brands like Amrapali, Tanishq and Ganjam.

Hrithik Is The Best Judge For Just Dance : Sonam Kapoor

Hrithik Roshan’s grand debut on small screen with dance reality show, Just Dance has left B-Townies asking for more.
Making her admiration public, Sonam Kapoor says she is not so fond of watching television, but has made an exception for Duggu.
“I really enjoyed the show. It was spectacular,” the actress, who follows the popular US dance show informs. “There was actually a performance on a song from Jodha Akbar in the US dance show format,” she quips.
Rooting for Hrithik, Sonam says, “I loved his entry. Only he can dance like that. There is no better person than him to judge a dance show.
It’s hard to even blink when you see him dance onscreen. Even his speech was straight from the heart.”
The young actress finds Hrithik’s real life story very inspiring. “Its amazing that someone like him, who was advised by a doctor not to pursue dancing, ended up being the nation’s best dancer.
It just shows you can achieve anything with determination, grit and passion. Those contestants are really lucky to be mentored by him,” she adds.
Speaking about Hrithik’s HR locket that has caught her fancy, the fashion-conscious actress says, “I would love to own that HR locket.”
“I don’t know if I should dance with him but I would love to when nobody is looking. Hopefully, I would get to do a film with him and we will have our own original number,” she giggles. Source

Ranbir Kapoor & Sonam Kapoor - The Battle Continues

The battle of words between Saawariya co-stars, and rumoured ex-couple, Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor just went into overdrive. In a recent magazine interview, Ranbir was quoted saying, “Sonam said a few things on TV that she shouldn’t have. But I have nothing to say about her since she was just
my co-star.”
SonamNever one to hold back, Sonam now responds acidly, “If Ranbir is really feeling bad, he should look at his episode of the same TV show. I’m really surprised he’s so hurt since he expressed similar feelings about me.”
The comments in question were made on chat show Koffee With Karan, where Sonam poked fun at Ranbir, saying he wasn’t sexy and needed a stylist. In an earlier episode, Ranbir had ranked her the lowest among Bollywood female actors in terms of acting skills and sex appeal. “Just because I’m not going around giving interviews or commenting on that incident doesn’t mean what he said wasn’t upsetting,” says Sonam defensively. “But I am mature and won’t react to what’s being said about me.” While she recalls also complimenting Ranbir for being well brought-up, she now admits, “We’re not really in touch anymore.” Source

Sonam Kapoor Replaced Sonakshi Sinha

Right from the time a script is picked upon for Superstar Rajinikant, everything at the pre-production, production, post-production and probably even ages after his movie is out, everything that happens surrounding him is nothing but news.
Now the latest we hear is that, our B-town’s tall damsel Deepika Padukone was not the initial choice for the film by the team. Instead, the first choice for the film was the ‘Dabangg’ beauty Sonakshi Sinha, who will now be introduced to Tamil cinema through ‘Viswaroopam’ where she will be cast opposite Kamal Haasan, the other pillar of Kollywood.
It is said that, KS Ravikumar strongly believed that Sonakshi would be perfect for the role, but then Superstar had something else to say.
Rajini, who has been a good friend of Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha right from their ‘Asli Nakli’ days in 1986, didn’t feel it was right to share on-screen romance with Shatrughan’s daughter.

Madhuri Dixit To Play Sonam Kapoor’s Mom ?

If what we hear is true, Madhuri Dixit may soon playing the role of Sonam Kapoor’s mother in Anil Kapoor’s remake of the Hollywood film, Freaky Friday.
The role was previously offered to Shabhana Azmi, Rekha and Kirron Kher who had to turn it down due to date clashes. Since Anil has said that he would like to work with his former leading lady again, he felt that Madhuri suited the role perfectly. Although she likes the script, we are still waiting for confirmation on her part in the film which revolves around a mother and daughter who magically swap roles for a day.
Could this be Madhuri’s comeback from her previous comeback, Aaja Nachle?
Her secretary and previous manager, Rakesh Nath has said, “She has got four-five very good offers. She will definitely do another film soon, but this time we have to be very careful. I’ve worked with other actresses, but Madhuriji is Madhuriji.” However, we do know she is meeting him since she tweeted, “Meeting with Anil Kapoor today. Lets see what happens….”

Sonam Kapoor lost oodles of weight before entering Bollywood, but her taste buds are still very active and she is busy binging on Goan food along with her ‘Players’ co-star Neil Nitin Mukesh. And guess who is jealous? Abhishek Bachchan!
The actors are shooting in Goa for their upcoming film ‘Players’, which is the remake of hit Hollywood movie ‘The Italian Job’ that also stars Abhishek and Sikandar Kher.
Sonam wrote on microblogging site Twitter: ‘Eaten so so much at Mum’s Kitchen in Goa!! Nothing beats Goan food.’
Neil also tweeted: ‘Got the day off in Goa. With my father at baga beach @ britto’s. Great to see so many kids here. Lovely weather. Awesome place great food’.
To which Abhishek replied: ‘Will the two of you stop eating and get serious about your work please!! Start starving like the rest of us!!! These children are out of control!!!’
Neil, who calls Abhishek his big brother, then said: ‘When I have a big brother like you I know you won’t let me ! So please work harder than you already do for us.’
Abhishek said: ‘Good try!!!!! Not gonna happen.’ Sonam also joined in the conversation, saying that Abhishek was jealous.
‘You are just jealous!! Bwahhahahahahaha!!!’, she posted.
Abhishek then said: ‘Jealous?? We’ll discuss that when you see the rushes and both of you will be looking like the house we’re shooting in.’
