Arjun Rampal Leaves His Friends Behind

Arjun Rampal, who is a close friend of industry heavyweights Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar has joined hands with their foe Pritish Nandy. The model turned actor has signed his next flick, to be directed by Nandy’s elder son Kushan and produced under the Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC) banner.
And this decision of Arjun has not gone well with King Khan and KJo. The two have been at loggerheads with Nandy since the past six years and Arjun’s professional move has disappointed the actor-filmmaker camp.
It is believed that Arjun has been signed on for the movie at a staggering price, which is why the actor decided to team up with his thick friends’ foe. But a source close to the actor, while talking to a daily revealed, “Arjun is not even aware of any problems between Karan, SRK and PNC. Arjun is sure that no one will hold grudges against him, especially because the so-called issue is over six years old. Arjun and SRK are still the best of friends, contrary to rumours about their fallout. Arjun loved the script of this film and is working in it. There are no two ways about it.”
Producer Rongita Nandy confirmed the news and said, “Yes, we are doing a film with Arjun and it starts this month. However, we are not giving out any details at the moment and we will make an official announcement soon.”
Buzz has it that Rongita (daughter of Pritish Nandy), producer of the film ‘Shabd’ had asked KJo and Gauri Khan to leave the private screening for reasons unknown. And since then, Shah Rukh’s gang vowed never to attend any function organized by the Nandys.
A daily reveals, “When the entire SRK clan banned the awards ceremony a lot of A-listers also abandoned the awards. As a result the ceremony eventually got cancelled.
This had colossal ramifications because gradually, most actors began refusing films under the PNC banner. Arjun is the first one to break this so-called rule.”

Saif & Deepika Are Back Together

Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan will be seen together again in Illuminati Films` next untitled project which will go on floor in April next year.
The two were last seen in “Love Aaj Kal” produced by Illuminati Films, the production house owned by Saif and Dinesh Vijan.
The untitled project scripted by filmmaker Imtiaz Ali will be directed by Homi Adajania who earned critical acclaim for his movie Being Cyrus and will be shot in London, Spain and Delhi.
Speaking about the film, Homi Adajania said,” It`s a similar space from where Love Aaj Kal left off and then it roller-coasters from there… Imtiaz has given us a hysterical and open-minded celebration of relationships that explore the various choices that life may offer… and what people are willing to surrender for love or sacrifice for friendship.”
Saif Ali Khan said he was looking for a script, as contemporary and relevant as this, to come his way and it has been worth the wait.
“I`m very excited about this story. It is romantic, funny and has a great balance of drama and entertainment. I`ve wanted to do a love story with a modern sensibility and treatment and I know that Homi will give us exactly that. I`m also looking forward to my pairing with Deepika again…. She has a fantastic role in this and I think she has grown impressively since Love Aaj Kal and will handle it very well,” he said.
According to Deepika, the script is edgy and quirky and had an instant connect for her.
“I have seen Homi’s Being Cyrus, and absolutely love his work. I have great respect for him and I am confident he is the perfect choice to direct this film. I have not played shades of a character like this before,” she added.
Dinesh Vijan, Saif’s partner in Illuminati, is happy that they have taken their time and chosen their projects wisely.
“At Illuminati, Saif and I have always wanted to develop projects of diverse genres and stories that we believe in. We want to take our time and create content that today’s well-exposed audience might like. Imtiaz has given us a beautiful story. Audience loved Saif and Deepika in Love Aaj Kal and I am happy that we could bring this pair together again,”he added. Source

Is Akshay Kumar Scared of Farah Khan?

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar feels director and choreographer Farah Khan is very bossy and a lot of men are scared of her.
“There is not too much difference between Farah Khan as director and Farah Khan as choreographer. What she wants in dancing, that’s exactly what she wants from an actor in scenes also. Whatever she wants, she will get it,” Akshay told reporters here while promoting their upcoming movie “Tees Maar Khan”.
“She is very bossy and lot of men are quite scared of her,” he chuckled.
Farah has succeeded as a director so far with her “Main Hoon Naa” and “Om Shanti Om” turning blockbuster hits.
The action comedy “Tees Maar Khan”, directed by Farah, is slated to release Dec 24 and has already hit the headlines for its sizzling item song “Sheila Ki Jawani” lipped by actress Katrina Kaif.
Akshay, also one of the producers of the film, was all praises for Farah and her husband Shirish Kunder for handling the production so efficiently.
“I am just there as a producer, that’s it. Farah and her husband Shirish tackle the whole production work because I can’t do it along with acting,” said Akshay, who was in Kolkata with Katrina for the promotion of the movie.
Asked whether he is under pressure regarding the film’s success as two earlier movies directed by Farah were superhits, the ‘Khiladi’ of Bollywood said the pressure was on Farah.
“Pressure is not on me. Pressure is on Farah because two of her earlier films were superhit. Now she has to deliver in this movie,” the actor said.
The movie revolves around Tarbez Mirza Khan - a criminal played by Akshay who gets the job of robbing antiques worth Rs.500 crore from a heavily guarded moving train - and his girlfriend Anya, played by Katrina. Source

Sanjay Dutt’s Love For Ajay Devgn

Bollywood has its equal share of pompous egoistic stars who think of only themselves, and those who don’t think twice before doing a close friend a favor. Time and again actors like Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt have proved that they are willing to do anything for their industry friends.
Sanjay, or Sanju baba as he is fondly called, shares a great rapport with Ajay Devgn. After doing Ajay’s All The Best, he will now be a part of Toonpoor Ka Superhero albeit as a voiceover. Krishika Lulla’s Ajay-Kajol starrer, which is to be released in December, has a character of God and the director was waiting for the right voice to act as the narrator.

Karisma Kapoor Goes For A Divorce

Karisma and her hubby Sanjay Kapur are at war again. The couple, that has had a troubled marriage from the very time they tied the knot in 2003, is all set to part ways once and for all. After initial reports of a split between the two died down, reports now suggest that the Kapoor lass might be filing for divorce rather very soon. And it’s all owing to Sanjay’s womanizing ways.
The actress is reportedly giving a very serious consideration to divorce on grounds of irreconcilable differences with her hubby. Confirming the news, a source said, “If she has not yet filed it yet, it would be any moment now.”
It’s after much deliberation with her family and friends that the actress has decided to part ways from Sanjay. “The time has come for Karisma to emerge from a bad marriage. She is terribly distraught and very stressed. She has virtually become a loner,” adds the source.
Sanjay Kapur and Karisma married in September 2003. Their first child was born in 2005, their second only in March this year. “Even when Karisma was pregnant with her second child, Sanjay was in the company of some girl. After she delivered her second baby, a son, he started getting cozy with a Delhi socialite,” says the source.
Another source added, “Sanjay has not been to Oberoi Crest on 16th Road, Khar (the new home where Karisma shifted to sometime ago) for the past three months at least. Karisma is undergoing hell. She has given so much to this relationship. She reconciled with Sanjay hoping that he would mend his ways.” Source

Aamir’s involvement in his projects is well known and SRK has full faith in his close buddy Karan Johar who is instrumental in King Khan’s rising stardom post DDLJ (Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge) days.
SRK doesn’t want any involvement. Shahrukh’s doubts are fair but Aamir’s nod is quite surprising. Sources claim it’s not Aamir’s professionalism alone it’s the ‘I’ factor for the yes from mamujan. Imran and Karan are in good terms since ‘I Hate Luv Storys’.

Anil Kapoor’s Bonding With Tom Cruise

The actor who is back from filming Mission Impossible 4 with Tom Cruise got a pleasant surprise when the Holywood star tweeted his thanks over a comment that Anil had made in a recent interview.
Kapoor, who plays an Indian in the action film, praised his famous co-star, saying, “Tom Cruise is very dedicated and hardworking. Some days he slept for just three hours. That is the kind of drive and dedication which makes you so successful. It (Hollywood) is like a Premier League,” he said.
Tom Cruise read the interview and tweeted his thanks in Hindi!
Meanwhile, Cruise is not the only international star on our Bollywood list.
Akshay Kumar also thanked hip hop artist, Ludacris who’s singing a song for his Indo-Canadian venture, Breakaway.
