John Abrahm To Participate In “India’s Sexiest Bachelor” Show

He might have broken off with his long-time girlfriend Bipasha Basu, but Bollywood hunk John Abraham knows what a woman wants in her man.
The 38-year-old actor is one of the competitors of the “India’s Sexiest Bachelor” show that will go on air at the end of this month on BIG CBS PRIME. A source from the show revealed what dating tips the “Jism” actor gives to men.
“Women are not lured by materialistic things any more. Good looks, great physique and a fat bank balance are not a sure-shot way to a woman’s heart. What touches a woman’s heart is a man with an even bigger heart - a good deed a day will have her closer to your heart!” the source quoted John as saying.
The show which has been conceptualised by BIG LIVE, the intellectual properties division of Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd, is an initiative that will see “10 of India’s sexiest men” on one platform, allowing for viewers to select their sexiest preference through public voting.
John will compete with nine other hot and sexy contestants like Saif Ali Khan, Ranveer Singh and Virat Kohli. Source

Simi Garewal’s Most Touchy Moment On India’s Most Desirable

Simi Garewal is chugging along, mostly in white, trapping younglings on her show, Simi Selects India’s Most Desirable. Despite the brickbats and the ratings, the show rolls on. And perhaps the question above should be rephrased to ask ‘With whom was Simi most painful?’
I’d say Ranbir Kapoor and end the debate there after that one legendary episode which kicked off the new show, one of the most atrocious things in the history of television.
But masochistic editors decreed that I watch every episode just to make sure Simi didn’t go even ‘better’ than episode one. (She didn’t. Believe me.)
Here, however, are eight episodes recapped, me biting the bullets you hopefully missed. Which episode did you personally howl at the most? What was actually watchable? Do vote, dear reader.
Ah, this was the beginning that led us to believe we were in for a special show. Ranbir sat down and looked meek while Simi consummately clawed off his street-cred, showing a mother’s boy instead of the rated-R superstar we’d all come to believe was the next film industry star.
The highlight of the episode of course was when Garewal suddenly went into parakeet mode as she became Ranbir’s fictional girlfriend Kiki, a monstrous insult to girlfriends everywhere. Source

Bollywood Is Wishing For Team India’s Success In World Cup 2011

Many Bollywood stars, including Akshay Kumar and Bipasha Basu, cheered for the Indian cricket team in the World Cup 2011. “Big day today! India will win for sure! Wishing Mahi n his team to do the magic:) We want the Cup!!! Let’s cheer for them (sic),” Bipasha posted on her Twitter page.
An excited Akshay Kumar posted: “Da Greatest Festival of evry Indian has finaly arrived” da Cricket World Cup” :) All da Best 2all da teams, especialy INDIA. Ps: Husbands do not neglect ur wives”.
Legendary singer Asha Bhosle was quite upbeat about catching the match on TV. “I don’t know about you but I’ll be glued to the idiot box this afternoon for 1st match of The World Cup. JAI HIND!” she posted.
Some actors like Dia Mirza and Jackky Bhagnani, who are busy with work, have asked their fans to keep them in the loop for the updates on the match. “Too much happening with our shoot on right now. Going to miss watching all the world cup action! Keep me posted! INDIA! let’s go for GLORY,” said Diya.
Jackky, who will be seen in F.A.L.T.U. soon, wrote: “Jeetege bhai jeetege india jeetega! What’s d score guys, I am dubbing!” Even former beauty queen-turned-actress Neha Dhupia missed out on the match, and remarked: “Long day at work and I’m only half way through… envy those who are home, watching the match!” Source
