Hrithik Roshan Speaks On Shammi Kapoor

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan says that the deceased actor Shammi Kapoor will not be forgotten.
“Tum mujhe yun bhula na paaoge” the song from Shammi Kapoor’s film Pagla Kahin Ka rings so true now that he’s left us. Hrithik Roshan, who is a great fan of the late actor, says a life like Shammi Kapoor’s should be rejoiced not mourned.
“Legends like Shammi Kapoor do not die…he lives, inside us, around us. A journey such as his should be rejoiced, not mourned. Of course, we’ll miss his physical presence terribly, but his magic lives on within you and me…and I will make sure my sons know the superstar their dad admired and loved the most,” Hrithik said in a press statement on Monday.
Hrithik has two sons: Hrehaan, five, and Hridhaan, three.
Hrithik even says it’s not appropriate to use tributes like RIP (Rest In Peace) for Shammi Kapoor.
“For you I don’t want to say R.I.P, but rather D.I.H …dancing in heaven now…I love you,” Hrithik added.
Shammi Kapoor passed away on Sunday at the age of 79. He was cremated on Monday morning. Source

Deepika Padukone Speaks On Her Film Aarakshan

Promos of AARAKSHAN pretty much promise a hard hitting dramatic affair in the offing. Also there is a trademark Prakash Jha stamp to the frames that promise a film that should succeed in entertaining its audience. Quiz Deepika Padukone, leading lady of the film, on whether the promise would be met and she nods affirmatively.
“Don’t worry, we will all keep our promise,” smiles Deepika, “When it comes to AARAKSHAN, we are all quite confident about the tale it aspires to tell. There is enough drama in the film to keep you engaged. When you see the promo, you get a whiff of what to expect from the film.
Since it’s the issue of ‘reservation’ which is being dealt with, you can pretty much imagine the intensity that can be promised with AARAKSHAN. At the end of the day if the content is good, there is nothing to worry about from entertainment standpoint.”
She is also happy about the fact that she was an immediate choice for the director who wanted to cast her as Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter in this volatile drama.
“I was so happy about the fact that he was giving me such an important role in the film,” gushes Deepika, “Despite such stalwarts in the cast, he explained to me what he felt about my presence in the film. The way he believed in me and appreciated me was amazing. What else does an actor want than to see her director show such confidence in her? Really, my day was made.”
With Saif Ali Khan in the lead and also starring Manoj Bajpai, Prateik Babbar and Tanvi Azmi, AARAKSHAN is a Firoz Nadiadwala production and releases all over on 12th August, the weekend leading to Independence Day. Source

Hrithik Speaks On Katrina

Greek god Hrithik Roshan seems to be quite impressed with Katrina Kaif’s team spirit and feels her unselfishness has made her so successful in filmdom, while the actress praises him describing him as a “phenomenal” actor.
“I had not seen any of her films until I had started working with her in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. It just happened that I had not been able to see her films,” Hrithik told.
“I was absolutely delighted to work with her. She is a team player, she is not a selfish actor. I like to work with people who give themselves to work, towards the entirety of same goal, that’s what she is, that’s how she is. That’s what has got her so far. What I have seen of her and what people have seen of her on screen is not even 10 percent of what she is capable of,” he added.
The actor’s film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is releasing on July 15, along with co-stars Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina and Kalki Koechlin.
Katrina couldn’t stop raving about Hrithik either.
“Thank you for saying that you have not seen any of my films. I didn’t know that. I have seen his films and have always been a huge fans of his work, he’s a phenomenal actor and I was really excited to have got a chance to work with him,” she said. Source

Vivek Oberoi Speaks On His Understanding Wife

Vivek Oberoi is being every bit a hero for his wife Priyanka. Now married for a few months already, he appreciates the fact that the woman in his life is making it all just so perfect and complete.
“I have to agree on this,” Vivek turns all moony eyed here, “The kind of peace and the comfort feel I get when Priyanka is around is so soothing. She has brought just the kind of stability I needed in my life. A life partner is the one you need to bring you on the right path and in this aspect Priyanka has done so well in giving my life the kind of balance and stability that was required.”
Taking about his every day plans with his wife, Vivek gushes, “When I return from work, I look forward to a nice evening with her and my family. We have been going out on holidays together and though they may not be overtly flashy or extravagant, they bring us further together.”
He continues, “With her around, even mundane things becomes so much fun. I am so sure that getting married is the best decision that I have taken in my life. In Priyanka who is also a very good friend of mine, I have been lucky to find someone so supportive and understanding. When I wake up in the morning, I have a smile on my face and I pray before the almighty for making it all so beautiful. No wonder, his professional life too has seen an upswing over the months.”
“Thankfully some fabulous movies are happening for me,” he says, “There is this wide spectrum of roles which is making it all the more exciting. From playing an out-and-out baddie in KRRISH 2 to be a lead protagonist in an out-and-out hard hitting dramatic fare in ZILLA GHAZIABAD to a love story which would be announced soon, it has all been wonderful. Sanjay Dutt Speaks On His Gym Partner, Hrithik Roshan

Sanjay Dutt admits that he is working out with actor Hrithik Roshan these days, and has renewed ties from the time they last did a film together in Mission Kashmir.
“It’s such a pleasure to work out with Hrithik,” says Sanjay, who has taken to the gym with a vengeance. He says that he has been giving a lot of strenuous exercises for Hrithik to follow and was amazed to see the younger actor perform it effortlessly.
“We’ve been sharing exercising tips with each other. I was quite surprised to see how effortlesslyhe took to some of the workouts that I suggested, and they were not easy ones. He is quite a sincere and fast learner. He is as passionate about his workouts as he is about his acting,” says Sanjay, who’s been working out with Hrithik for about a month now.
Since Hrithik has worked on Dutt’s workout tips, would Dutt do the same by shaking a leg with the nimble feet dancer. “I am not going to dance with him. I am no match for him. I feel he is the best dancer among all the leading actors that we have today and I am not going to dance with him at all!” laughs Dutt.
The actor says that he is so fond of Hrithik’s dancing that he kept aside his work and caught up with the dance reality show that Hrithik as hosting. “Watching him emerge out of a water fountain (in his show) was absolutely mesmerizing. He is the perfect choice for a dance reality show. I have been a fan of his dancing right from the time I saw him in the song ‘Ek Pal Ka Jeena’ (film Kaho Naa Pyar Hai). I remember seeing him as a kid when I used to meet (filmmaker) Rakesh Roshan, but we didn’t interact then. It was only when we did the film Mission Kashmir (where Hrithik played Sanju’s son) that we bonded a lot on the sets,” he adds.
As an actor, the one thing about Hrithik that impressed Sanjay the most was that he did not flinch one bit in doing retakes over retakes on the sets of the film that they are currently shooting together. “There were so many retakes and he was giving as many re-takes as needed and that to with equal amount of gusto and energy. Well, it’s good to see him, and may be we can all learn a thing or two from him as an actor and a performer,” he ends. Source

John Abraham Speaks On Bipasha

The news of actors Bipasha Basu and John Abraham’s break-up came as a shock to most as the two were dating for the past eight years. Though Basu has been vocal about her feelings,Abraham refused to comment on the relatioship until now. He has apparently poured his heart out on a chat show (the episode is yet to be aired) recently.
A source says, “When asked about his relationship status, John said that after being in a relationship for eight years you want to try out everything to make it work. And when it still isn’t working out, it’s still not easy to break up instantly as you have some really fond memories with the person. He added that Bipasha was a very strong person and that’s what he loved about her.
As a girlfriend she was a caring and nice person. She was very homely unlike the image created by people. But the problem he felt was that they were both headstrong. He went on to say that as much as men say they believe in women’s liberation, they are chauvinistic. He added that he cared about the women in his life and would not like it if they were in any problems. Therefore he maintained the ‘no comments’ stand.”
The source further adds, “On the show John’s parents were asked who they feel would be an ideal girl for him. John’s dad maintained that he should settle down with any girl he felt happy with and also said that he liked Bipasha. John’s mother said that her son needed a more homely and caring girl, who understood her son. She clearly ignored Bipasha in her talks and not even once referred to her.”
However, now rumour mills are abuzz that Abraham is quite enjoying his single status and has been hitting it off quite well with women around him. And one name that seems to be topping the list is that of an upcoming model apparently called Priya. In fact, John has been spotted having coffee and on another occasion dinner with her. Jacqueline Fernandez Speaks On Murder 2

Jaqueline Fernandes has finally arrived. After appearing in forgettable films like Aladin and Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai and a brief appearance as the sexy Dhanno in Housefull, the Sri Lankan beauty is stepping in Mallika Sherawat’s famous shoes for Murder-2.
With other high-profile projects like Housefull 2 (she has a full length role in the sequel) and Raaz 3 lined up, Jacqueline is busy brushing up her acting skills.
In conversation with Sonil Dedhia, Jacqueline talks about her experience of working with the Bhatts, inevitable comparisons with Mallika Sherawat and why she has no reservations in doing a glamorous role.
How has your Bollywood experience been so far?
The films I did are different from each other and I enjoyed playing both roles and also the item number that I did in Housefull. I am lucky to have worked in two films. It’s been an exciting phase so far. I have just started my career and have a long way to go.
The Bhatts are known to have made the careers of a lot of their leading ladies.
I am fortunate that I got an opportunity to be a part of such a huge franchise. The Bhatts are an amazing family and a production house to work with and I guess anyone will back me up for this.
I have had the best time working with them as they treated me like family and have pampered me on the sets and they were always open for suggestions. I am looking forward to doing a lot more movies with them. I just hope that I have delivered what they expected.
