Himesh Reshammiya’s Music Is Still In Demand

That T-Series and Himesh Reshammiya have had a long, close and successful association has been known for quite some time. The two have now decided to come together again with HR Muzik Limited’s new production ‘Damadamm’, the music rights of which are with T-Series for perpetuity.
Incidentally, the music rights of the film ‘Bodyguard’, the music of which is by Himesh is the music director, are also with T-Series.
Directed by Swapna Joshi, ‘Damadamm’ stars Himesh, Sonal Sehgal and Purbi Joshi. The film is slated for release on 27 October, 2011.
On the other hand, ‘Bodyguard’ features Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor and the film’s shooting is going on in full swing.
The long and fruitful association between T-Series and Himesh goes a long way back, to the latter’s first film, ‘Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya’ in 1998. Since then, the two went on to create a formidable team, in the process churning out some of the topmost selling albums of the millennium, including ‘Tere Naam’, ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ and ‘Aap Ka Suroor’ among others. Salman Khan Is Still In A Game With Hrithik Roshan

Riding a crest of super success, post ‘Dabangg’, Salman Khan is said to have locked horns with Hrithik Roshan, reportedly contemplating the release of his ‘Ready’ against Roshan’s ‘Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara’ on May 27, 2011.
However, the Indian Premier League finals (May 29, 2011) put paid to all such fancy plans and Bhushan Kumar’s ‘Ready’ will now illumine cinemas on June 3, 2011, while ‘ZMND’ is slated to hit screens only on June 23, 2011.
After the super wins of ‘Wanted’ and ‘Dabangg,’ Salman has emerged as the New God for distributors while Hrithik, who served up two duds ‘Kites’ and ‘Guzaarish,’ hasn’t really got industry types yearning to frontline his flicks.
States a top industry source, “After ‘Dabangg’ , Salman’s status as a star has increased tremendously and he’s literally the ‘God of small centres.’ Salman’s film ‘Ready’ is a solo Salman film and distributors have more confidence in promoting it rather than Hrithik’s film ‘ZMND’ which is more of a niche film. Besides, Hrithik’s recent films have not done well and Zoya Akhtar’s first film also was a flop.”
‘ZMND’ Producer Ritesh Sidhwani, who’s busy filming for ‘Don 2' in Malaysia, slams all such reports in a media quote stating, ” ‘ NMND’ has been postponed to June 23, because the film won’t be ready by May 2011. A major distribution firm will be taking care of our film. If ‘Ready’ has Salman, our film also has big stars like Hrithik (Roshan), Abhay (Deol) and Katrina (Kaif). Plus, Salman is like family to us, so there is no question of us competing with his film.” Source

Deepika Padukone Is Still Searching For Her Mr. Perfect

She is still looking for the right man, says Deepika Padukone who is often spotted with industrialist Vijay Mallya’s son Siddharth after breaking up with Ranbir Kapoor.
‘I haven’t thought of marriage. I still have to find the right man to even consider marriage,’ Deepika told reporters at Imran Khan and Avantika’s wedding reception Saturday where she came with Sidhharth.
When the reporters asked Siddharth about their relationship, he too passed the buck on Deepika saying: ‘I have planned nothing as yet. You should ask her.’
Commenting upon the rumours about his and Deepika’s relationship, he said: ‘I was out of the country when I heard of it, it made me laugh.’
Deepika, who featured with Imran in ‘Break Ke Baad’, said it was must for her to attend her co-star’s wedding reception.
‘I owe it to Imran. I was shooting in Bhopal and have just landed and coming straight from the airport to attend the reception,’ she said. Source

Why Is Aishwarya Rai Still Avoiding Salman ?

It seems that Salman has come over Aishwarya period but the Bachchan bahu yet feels awkward to face her ex-beau. Recently, during the 17th Annual Star Screen Awards event, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was supposed to perform on her popular hit numbers.
According to a source, Ash reached backstage quite earlier and was waiting there for announcement of her name. So, she decided to take little rest before the performance at a nearby lounge. However, before entering the lounge, she met Vidya Balan at the entry and they exchanged little chit chat for some time.
However, when the former beauty queen glanced inside, she found her ex-beau Salman sitting there. So, she walked out swiftly without making any scene. She opted to wait outside standing till her performance was announced.
Cineyug, the organizers of the show noticed this and were left wondered thinking about the reason. After some time, Salman made a calm and composed exit and he seemed not bothered by her presence. Ash probably wanted to keep herself away from any embarrassing situation, so she chose to wait outside. Even when Salman left the lounge, she did not go inside on the organizers’ insistence.

Ranbir Kapoor & Deepika Padukone - The War Is Still On

Deepika Padukone opened her starry mouth and let out those priceless words: ‘I caught him red handed!’ The needle of suspicion of the moral compass swiftly pointed towards Ranbir Kapoor. And although, DP did later clarify to the scribe tribe that the barb wasn’t hinted at Ranby, it serve to step up the heat and spotlight on RK’s amourous side.
To compound matters further, DP and Sonam Kapoor did their round of Ranbir bashing on Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ and thrashed his ‘playboy image’ leading to fresh rows, controversy and fall outs. The no holds barred take on RK’s libido in overdrive, his terrible ways as a boyfriend and more, has also gotten the goat of Ranbir.
Even as Deepika’s romantic ties with a certain Siddhartha Mallya are in fortifying mode, there was talk, reportedly emanating from DP, that Ranby was a confused male, a love struck puppy who was still hoping that she’d take him back.
On his part, RK seems to have figured it out, that the fountainhead of all these ugly rumours are sources close to his former flame. He’s mighty peeved with the fact that the calls that he made to DP and the SMSs that he sent her are being leaked to the media, making it seem as if he was chasing her all over again!
Reportedly, a meeting between the two ex lovers is on the anvil, as RK would like to get to the bottom of the mess. Word has it, that DP too is getting quite jittery over constant rumours about Ranby and her, buzzing the mediavine.
States a close source, “Ranbir is certain that somebody is planting stories against him in the media and he wants to nail the source. He also wants to nail the source.”
Although, insiders state that DP and RK, are making a concerted effort to stay cordial with each other, and even hugged each other in the studio corridor whilst filming for Karan’s chat show, the repercussions of K Jo’s telly beverage are evident.
