Akshay Kumar’s Joker Is In Trouble

When he started work on JOKER, it was meant to be one of its own kind of an experiment as in the current times at Bollywood, no one had attempted a 3D film before. However HAUNTED came out of nowhere and turned into a success. Now for Shirish Kunder, director of JOKER, there are some more worries ahead as Shahrukh Khan is also thinking of converting RA.ONE into 3D.
Says a well placed source from the film’s production team, “When Shirish had envisioned JOKER, he was one of the first Bollywood filmmakers to do so. Now with other films also following suit, Shirish is bound to feel the heat.”
As per insiders, once Akshay Kumar returns from London after wrapping up a schedule for HOUSEFULL 2, Shirish would be showing him the results of what has been shot so far for JOKER. This is the time when he would be also having talks with him around adding on something even more spectacular in the scenes that are yet to be shot. Since the film has a fantasy setting to it with an alien element incorporated as well, Shirish is confident though that he can play around with the technology and refine it to get the best results.
The filmmaker isn’t willing to reveal much though when asked if he was indeed revisiting JOKER due to all the pressure surrounding him and his film. “From where do you hear such stories,” he immediately snaps back, “There is no truth to it.”
When told that this piece of information came from one of his technical crew members, he softened up and said, “We have everything finalised. For JOKER too we would be having nothing but the best of the VFX which would be truly belonging to never seen before category.”
We really hope that’s truly the case, Shirish. Source

No One Killed Jessica is based on the murder of model Jessica Lall in 1999 by Manu Sharma, son of former union minister Venod Sharma, after she refused to serve him a drink at a club in New Delhi.
Rani plays a journalist who feels passionately about the case, but her character smokes and often hurls abuses. Source
