Ashmit Patel Says : Emraan Is The Real Stud

This week on UTV Bindass Superstud, the competition gets tougher for the studs and to give them a few tips Ashmit has invited the man who knows it all, the man known to charm the ladies and steal hearts, Emraan Hashmi. He visited the Stud farm and was delighted to meet his good friend aka Superstud, Ashmit Patel after a long time.
Soon after they met, Ashmit introduced Emraan to the contestants, who were equally excited to interact with him. While introducing him Ashmit proclaimed, “Emraan is the original stud and the boys should look up to him and definitively note down the tips given by him.”
When asked about his views about this show and what he thinks of the opportunity given to the boys, Hashmi commented, “The concept of the show is very novel and it’s the first time in India that such a show has been showcased. I think the contestants should just learn and follow so that they go ahead and inspire more people.” Well, we hope the contestants get some amazing tips from the Superstud of Bollywood! Source

Vidya Balan & Emraan Hashmi Are Getting Close To Each Other

http://www.bollywood.ac/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/thumbcms.jpgEmraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan are slowly but steadily warming up to each other’s presence on the sets of The Dirty Picture. Though it seemed like quite a task that Milan Luthria and his team had in hand only because Emraan and Vidya hadn’t worked together earlier, the current level of bonding between the two actors has reached a point where they are supremely comfortable, especially when it comes to discussing the nitty-gritties of the on-screen intimacy required of them.
“A new pairing always takes time to settle down; especially when it comes to a film like The Dirty Picture, which by no means, is like any other love story. Though both Vidya and Emraan have been quite bold in their own ways over the years, it is different when you bring such strong and different individuals together,” remarks a source close to the film.
So while in isolation both Vidya and Emraan were kicked about bringing on screen the kind of characters that they had never played before, the challenge was to ensure that there was enough comfort between them.
“Milan had pre-empted that Emraan and Vidya would need to spend time together before the commencement of shoot. This is why he had even organized workshops for them.” Continues the source, “Though Emraan, usually, isn’t a man of many words, Vidya is open and fun-loving. Milan was sure that as mature individuals they would cultivate the kind of chemistry that was would be necessary for the genre and narrative of the film.” Source

Emraan Hashmi Is The Top Priority For Vishal Bhardwaj

It seems it’s Emraan Hashmi or nothing for Vishal Bhardwaj’s film Daayan! After some actresses said no to working with the actor in the supernatural thriller, the filmmaker made it very clear that Emraan was his top priority.
Said a source: “Both Vishal and (producer) Ekta Kapoor believe Emraan is the fulcrum of the script and the only non-negotiable member of the cast.”
“Vishal thinks Emraan has huge potential. He wanted to cast Emraan in 7 Khoon Maaf in the role that Irrfan Khan eventually did but it didn’t work out.
“Emraan is in demand with several topnotch filmmakers. Rohan Sippy who wanted to cast him in Dum Maro Dum is casting the actor in his next. Dibakar Banerjee chose Emraan at the cost of losing Katrina Kaif in his new film Shanghai,” the source added.
Vishal will shoot Daayan in the next couple of months.
The hunt for the three leading ladies is almost over.
Said a source close to the project: “The minute it was made known that all the three leading ladies’ parts were equally important, a queue of girls showed up at Vishal’s doorstep.”
The last we heard, Jacqueline Fernandez, Chitrangda Singh and Mahie Gill had been shortlisted for the three parts.  Source

Watchout For Jacqueline’s Intimacy With Emraan In Murder 2

There is indeed a lot of expectation from MURDER 2. After all if the talkie and song promos are any indication, ‘being bold’ has seemingly taken an altogether different meaning for a leading lady in MURDER 2, Jacqueline Fernandez.
“I won’t deny that…continues Jackie “So yes; there were intensive conversations around how to shoot certain intimate scenes between Emraan and me. But then it wasn’t like ‘let’s make it graphic’ or ‘make it way too revealing’,” reveals Jackie, “It was more about Mohit looking at capturing the right moment on screen and ensure that the intimacy came alive. Now if that required both of us to allow our inhibitions to fly away then that’s fine. We did everything that was required to make our intimacy look convincing enough on the screen.”
Though Jacqueline Fernandez doesn’t quite go into details talking about the scenes that are expected to make audience stand up and take notice, she promises that there is enough sensationalism in the Emraan Hashmi starrer. Source

Emraan Hashmi Joins Hands With Vishal Bhardwaj

It was news some time back that maverick director Vishal Bhardwaj and Ekta Kapoor will be teaming up, well now we hear that Ekta and Vishal are all set to make a supernatural musical titled Dayaan. Helping them out as the creative producer for the film will be Abhishek Chaubey of Ishqiya.
But what’s interesting to know is that Emraan Hashmi, who has mostly been associated with the Bhatt camp, will be seen romancing three leading ladies in the film.
When contacted, Ekta confirmed the same and added, “Yes, Vishal and I are planning a drama with a breakthrough genre. It will be replete with thrills, chartbusting music and supernatural elements. Three young and happening girls will be cast opposite Emraan.”
The project is expected to go on the floors this November. Source

Emraan Hashmi Is Flying High On His Film’s Success

After making a career out of playing a bad boy in majority of his films, Emraan Hashmi is relieved that now he also has a comic success up his sleeves. His DIL TOH BACCHA HAI JI has shown an escalation at the box office after taking a decent start and is pretty much in a comfort zone now with weekend collections expected to be around the 15 crores mark.
“Yes, this was my first out and out comedy and I am glad it has turned out to be a positive outing”, says Emraan who had to convince himself before coming on board for this Madhur Bhandarkar directed film.
He had all the right reasons to be apprehensive though. After all, his earlier attempt at comedy was a disaster with JAWAANI DEEWANI resulting in quite a few detractors pouncing on him due to film’s ‘below the belt’ humour.
“Technically, I still don’t consider that film as a comedy”, says Emraan with a straight face, “JAWAANI DEEWANI went into a completely weird space and the slapstick humour there didn’t work at all. I knew there and then that if I had to attempt a comedy, it had to be situational and funny.”
No wonder, today he is smiling the most with his conviction in DTBHJ coming true. “Yeah, this experience was far better”, he says with a broad smile, “A funny situational comedy like this is anytime welcome.”
Well, seems like here is one actor who may just about change tracks now! Source
