Shahrukh Khan Misses Lara Dutta’s Wedding For 1.5 Crores

Shah Rukh Khan chose to attend Vivek Biyani’s wedding reception on Saturday, giving his Don 2 co-star Lara Dutta’s Goa wedding a miss.
Vivek Biyani, for those who don’t know, is the nephew of entrepreneur Kishore Biyani, who introduced Big Bazaar, Pantaloons and Central chain of shops. Vivek wed Tanushree Dhoot (whose family owns the Videocon group).
The reception took place at Turf Club at Mahalaxmi, South Mumbai. Apparently, SRK danced at the couple’s sangeet party on Friday, for a whooping    1.5 crore.
After the wedding, SRK took a private chopper to Malaysia, for the Don 2 shooting. His long hair is reportedly his look in the film as reported. Source

Celina Jaitley Picks Egypt For Her Wedding

The scintillating beauty Celina Jaitley is ready to take the plunge with her Dubai-based beau Peter Haag. And she says she would love to get married in picturesque Egypt whenever she decides to tie the knot.
So the Celina-Peter wedding is being planned for the year-end in Egypt, for which she is a tourism ambassador. “They want to play host to my wedding. You know Naomi Campbell got married in Egypt. It’d be a wonderful wedding in that beautiful country,” Celina said.
But she is in no hurry.
“I want to give it a year. Right now, I’ve so many endorsements and movies. Peter is not comfortable with the media glare. I guess he will have to get used to it,” the former Miss India said.

Shilpa Shetty’s Maiden Wedding Anniversary Gift

Shilpa Shetty spent her first wedding anniversary yesterday in Dubai with husband Raj Kundra at her new home on the ninetieth floor of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.
Says a source close to the actress, “Shilpa was thrilled when Raj gifted her the luxury apartment. It’s his wedding anniversary gift to her.
He gifted her the keys in Mumbai a week ago. She had visited Dubai a few months ago, had loved the building and expressed a wish of staying there.
The couple has taken a three-day break to celebrate their first wedding anniversary there. Raj also has something else planned for Shilpa - a lavish dinner with a few surprises thrown in.”
Shetty will design the interior of the apartment while she’s there. She then heads to Bangkok to shoot a shampoo ad on November 26.
And to think, SS’s trip to Dubai almost never happened! She had an attack of pharyngitis on Saturday morning. She was to fly to Dubai on Sunday but had to postpone her trip by a day.
The source adds, “Shilpa suddenly developed 103-degree temperature on Saturday night and a bad bout of pharyngitis. Though the fever waned by Sunday evening, her voice has gone (sic) completely.
She was in much pain but they didn’t want to cancel their trip. Raj and Shilpa finally left yesterday morning.” Source
